Mohamed Salah narrowed the gap to Erling Haaland in he Premier League Golden Boot competition to just one goal after successfully converting a penalty during Liverpool's 2-0 victory against Manchester City over the weekend. 

Haaland, the City star, has netted 12 goals in 13 matches, while Salah, the captain of Egypt, follows closely with 11 goals. Other African players, including Nicolas Jackson, Bryan Mbeumo, and Yoane Wissa, have each scored eight goals. 

Additionally, Omar Marmoush, another Egyptian player in excellent form, has tallied 13 goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt, who currently sit in second place.

MOHAMED SALAH (Liverpool)  

Salah played a crucial role in Liverpool's significant victory over City at Anfield, which dealt a serious blow to City's title aspirations. He assisted Cody Gakpo's opening goal in the 12th minute with a shot that Gakpo converted. Later, Salah scored a penalty in the 78th minute, helping Liverpool extend their lead to nine points over second-placed Arsenal and 11 points ahead of City.

NICOLAS JACKSON (Chelsea)  

The Senegalese forward excelled in Chelsea's commanding 3-0 win against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge. Jackson opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a precise volley from eight yards, connecting with a cross from Marc Cucurella.

YOANE WISSA (Brentford)  

The forward from the Democratic Republic of Congo contributed to Brentford's 4-1 triumph over Leicester City. Wissa equalized in the 25th minute with a close-range finish from Kevin Schade’s cross, with Schade later completing a hat-trick.

SPAIN

RANDY NTEKA (Rayo Vallecano)  

The Angolan midfielder netted the opening goal for Vallecano against Athletic Bilbao, although the match ended in a 2-1 defeat for his team. Nteka capitalized on a defensive error, finishing calmly for his first goal of the season.

ITALY

ANAS HAJ MOHAMED (Parma)  

The 19-year-old Tunisia international, born in Italy, made a memorable first Serie A start by scoring Parma’s second goal in a 3-1 victory over Lazio. His curling shot in the 53rd minute marked Parma's third win in 14 league matches.

GERMANY

OMAR MARMOUSH (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Marmoush delivered another impressive performance as Eintracht triumphed over Heidenheim with a score of 4-0, reducing Bayern Munich’s lead in the Bundesliga to four points. He netted the opening goal in the 22nd minute with a precise first-time shot and added a third goal midway through the second half.

GEOFFREY KONDOGBIA (Marseille)

The 31-year-old international from the Central African Republic has been effectively transitioned into a centre-back role by Marseille's coach, Roberto De Zerbi. Kondogbia played a pivotal role in the defense as Marseille clinched a 2-1 win against Monaco in an important Ligue 1 matchup.

ABDOUL OUATTARA (Strasbourg)

The 19-year-old midfielder from Ivory Coast, who graduated from the Strasbourg academy, scored his first professional goal after being substituted in during a 3-1 defeat to Brest.
