The actress, who made her cinematic debut last year, shared the news on her Instagram page, indicating that she is currently working on a new project.
She said “Owambe Thieves” will be out around Easter.
She urged her fans to remain patient, assuring them that the film will be worth the anticipation.
The actress conveyed her appreciation to her fans and supporters, emphasizing that she is ready to provide them with entertainment this year.
“She wrote: “The year has started fully o, and it’s a good time to run you some updates; if you’ve not been told, get updated now; Owambe Thieves is coming, and it’s going to be loud.
“I came prepared for you all this year, and I’m only imploring you to be patient as Easter is just around the corner; wait for it. Owambe Thieves will wow you!”.
Eniola Ajao is an actress hailing from Epe, recognized for her impressive body of work that includes over 75 films. She is celebrated for her dynamic presence and versatility in her performances. Ajao, along with her twin sister, is the youngest of six siblings in her family.
Her acting career began in 2004 with a role in the film Ìgbà Aìmọ̀. Since then, she has appeared in various films, including Eniola, Erin Orin, and Daramola. Notably, she took on a leading role in the 2018 film The Vendor and starred in Yeye Alara, which was released in December 2018.
Eniola Ajao recently took the reins as producer for the 2024 Nigerian thriller, Beast of Two Worlds (Ajakaju). Not only did she produce it, but she also plays a role in the film, which hit Nigerian theaters on March 29, 2024. The project was a joint effort with Anthill Studios, led by Niyi Akinmolayan. Adebayo Tijani and Odunlade Adekola directed the film, featuring a talented cast that includes Sola Sobowale, Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Fathia Balogun, Bimbo Akintola, and Olayode Juliana.
