Juventus, known for their proficiency in securing draws, contrasts with Milan, renowned for their remarkable ability to stage comebacks.

Juventus is starting to be known for their knack for draws, while AC Milan is becoming famous for their ability to stage comebacks.

On Tuesday, Juventus played to a 1-1 draw against Atalanta, marking their seventh draw in the last eight league games and their 13th out of 20 Serie A matches this season. Despite this, they’re still unbeaten in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Milan managed to rally and secure a 2-1 victory against Como.

Atalanta is now tied on points with second-place Inter Milan, who have two games in hand, and they sit four points behind Serie A leaders Napoli.

Milan is trailing Juventus by three points, and they’re set to clash in Turin on Saturday. However, they might be without key player Christian Pulisic, who limped off just before halftime against Como.

In the match against Atalanta, Juventus took the lead in the 54th minute thanks to some impressive work from Weston McKennie. The U.S. midfielder chased down a long ball and delivered a perfectly timed pass to Pierre Kalulu, who slotted it past Marco Carnesecchi at the near post.

Kalulu almost scored just moments earlier when his header hit the inside of the far post and rolled along the line before Carnesecchi managed to save it. Replays showed that only a tiny part of the ball was still on the line, with about 98% of it having crossed over.

Mateo Retegui made his return in the 65th minute after being sidelined with an injury, and the league's top scorer brought Atalanta level 13 minutes later with his 13th goal of the season.

Historic Hernández goal

A remarkable goal from Theo Hernández marked a significant moment for Milan, leading them to a comeback victory for the third time in four matches under Sérgio Conceição, who celebrated his inaugural Serie A win as head coach.

Conceição, who took over from the dismissed Paulo Fonseca at the end of the previous year, began his tenure on a high note by guiding Milan to the Italian Super Cup title, achieving two comeback victories within just over a week in charge.

However, the momentum was briefly halted with a disappointing 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Cagliari on Saturday.

In the match on Tuesday, Milan found themselves trailing once again when Como’s new recruit Assane Diao, making his first start, sprinted down the right flank, cut inside, and struck into the near bottom corner.

Although Hernández may have been criticized for allowing Diao too much space, he redeemed himself with a superb equalizer in the 71st minute. This goal marked his 30th in Serie A, surpassing Paolo Maldini as the highest-scoring defender for Milan in the league's history.

Milan completed their turnaround just five minutes later when Rafael Leão capitalized on a through ball from Tammy Abraham, delicately lifting it over Como goalkeeper Jean Butez.

Both Leão and Hernández are pivotal players for Milan, although they have faced challenges during the first half of the season, often finding themselves at odds with Fonseca.
