According to BrandIconImage, Adekunle expressed his remorse over dating Venita while participating in the Big Brother Naija show. During a recent episode of the 'Deks & Friends' podcast, he reflected on his experience in the BBNaija house and stated that if he could change anything, it would be his decision to enter into a relationship, which he noted was not part of his original plan.
In response to Adekunle's remarks, Venita took to her X account, urging him to move forward with his life and to allow her to do the same. She wrote,
“Please MOVE ON in the name of Jesus Amen.”
Adekunle has previously addressed his relationship with Venita, this is not the first time. In an interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel last year, he confirmed that their romance had concluded and expressed no interest in reviving it with the actress.
He explained that their connection did not extend beyond their time in the Big Brother house, noting that he was unfamiliar with Venita outside of that environment.
He said, “This is the first time in so long that I’ve spoken about Venita. Coming into the house was the very first time in my life I knew about Venita. I didn’t get the opportunity to know her outside the house. Whatever we had didn’t last outside the house. The only memory that I have of her is the one we shared in the house.”
The host asked, “If there’s ever an opportunity, would you give another shot at dating Venita if both of you decided to sit face-to-face and talk about it?”
Adekunle replied, “I can sit face-to-face with her, that’s not a problem, but because of everything that has happened, I would not want to give another shot at her.
“A lot of bad things happened. There could have been a better way to resolve issues from her part.”
It is worth noting that Adekunle and Venita were involved during the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition of the reality show.
