In contrast, the company had a profit of 21.4 million francs in 2023 and reported full-year revenue of 1.015 billion Swiss francs ($1.12 billion), which is a slight increase from the previous year.
The software and cloud solutions provider is set to finalize its acquisition of Crayon Group in June, ahead of its earlier estimate of the third quarter.
Back in December, SoftwareOne agreed to acquire its Norwegian rival in a deal valued at $1.4 billion, combining cash and stock.
By the end of 2024, SoftwareOne achieved annual cost savings of 58 million francs, surpassing its initial target of 50 million francs, prompting an increase in the goal to 70 million francs by the second quarter of 2025.
CEO Raphael Erb mentioned that the company will primarily focus on integrating Crayon in 2025 and has no major acquisitions on the horizon, although there might be opportunities for smaller additions.
Mr. Erb stated that he does not foresee challenges from potential tariffs levied by the Trump administration, citing the company's established presence in over 60 countries.
He further explained that the company's billing practices utilize local currencies and that their operations benefit from the continued rapid growth of cloud computing and hyperscalers.
