In a controversial video posted on his Instagram page, Lande alleged that his wife, Dara, left him after he discovered her alleged infidelity. He also accused his manager, Mary Gold, who is also his wife’s best friend, of facilitating her introduction to Baba Tee despite knowing she was married to him.
Mary Gold, responding to the allegations, claimed that Baba Tee only became involved with Lande’s wife after she dared to call him impotent. However, Baba Tee has vehemently denied these accusations.
In a video interview on his Instagram page, Baba Tee challenged Lande to provide proof of his claims. He stated, “I have never met or spoken to Lande’s wife in my life. I didn’t even know what she looked like until mid-2024, when Mary Gold contacted me about an MC job, as I’m also a stand-up comedian.”
Baba Tee explained that Mary Gold had visited his estate to discuss the launch of her movie but arrived with an unfamiliar woman. “I questioned why she brought someone I didn’t know to my house. She then introduced the lady as a content creator and up-and-coming artiste. It was only later, after overhearing their conversation, that I discovered she was Lande’s wife,” he said.
He continued, “I confronted Mary Gold and asked why she didn’t introduce her as Lande’s wife from the beginning. Shortly after, Lande began hurling insults at me on Instagram, which left me shocked. I’ve only seen Lande once in my life, and I have no idea why he’s targeting me.”
Baba Tee concluded by directly challenging Lande: “Lande, I’m calling on you to present evidence to support your allegations. Show the world proof that I slept with your wife. Until then, these claims remain baseless and unfounded.”
