Iyanya's optimistic outlook follows recent remarks by Davido, who suggested that fan behavior contributes to the challenges in getting the three megastars to work together.
Having collaborated with each of the three artists individually, Iyanya believes the time is ripe for them to transcend any existing differences and unite their musical talents.
He conveyed his desire for this collaboration through a social media post, urging Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy to prioritize music creation and financial success.
In his message, Iyanya wrote: “Trolls trying to make money off trolling real hardworking Brothers. It’s not easy to look away sometimes, especially when they come for someone or something so dear to your heart. I believe one day we will get that collaboration between David, Wiz and Burna. I am one of those in the industry who have been privileged to have worked with all three. Let’s make music and get money.”
Notably, Wizkid and Burna Boy have a history of successful collaborations, evidenced by popular tracks such as “B D’or” and “Ginger.”
Furthermore, Burna Boy and Davido have also collaborated in the past, notably on the track “Trumpet” before Burna Boy achieved widespread international recognition. Iyanya's statement adds to the ongoing discussion and hopes within the Afrobeats community for a landmark collaboration uniting these three influential figures.
