Pop Star Expresses Exhaustion Over Pressure to Heal and Constant Self-Focus

Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber has taken to social media to share a raw and emotional account of his ongoing battle with mental health, admitting that he feels "broken" and weary from the relentless pressure to “heal.”

In an Instagram post on Monday, the singer poured out his frustrations, highlighting the emotional toll of trying to live up to public expectations while grappling with internal struggles.

“The more I try to grow, the more self-focused I become, and it’s exhausting. I’m tired of thinking about myself,” Bieber wrote.

Tired of Expectations, Bieber Leans on Faith

Bieber, 30, has been open in recent years about his journey through depression, anxiety, and the challenges of fame. In this latest post, he expressed a deep sense of frustration with the constant calls to “heal,” saying it only deepens his feeling of failure.

“People keep telling me to heal — don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already? I know I’m broken and I know I have anger issues,” he stated candidly.

The singer went on to share that he has spent much of his life trying to meet others’ expectations of what it means to be “fixed,” only to feel more emotionally drained and angry in the process.

“It just keeps making me more tired and more angry... The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am.”

Despite his struggles, Bieber pointed to his faith in Jesus as a grounding force that continues to inspire him to focus on others, even when he's overwhelmed by his own inner battles.

“Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others. Because honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren’t you?”

A Growing Conversation on Mental Health in the Spotlight

Justin Bieber's candid post adds to the ongoing conversation around mental health, particularly among public figures who often appear to live perfect lives. His openness is resonating with fans, many of whom praised him for speaking out and helping normalize emotional vulnerability.
