Veteran Fuji music legend, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate or Kwam 1, has broken his silence amid swirling rumours about the state of his marriage to Emmanuella Ropo, firmly dismissing claims of a reunion with his estranged wife, Fathia Titi Marshall.

In a candid interview with journalist Stella Dimoko-Korkus, the 68-year-old artiste addressed the reports that began circulating shortly after the Sallah festivities. According to the online buzz, Emmanuella was said to have moved out of their matrimonial home following Kwam 1’s alleged reconciliation with Titi Marshall and her children.

Setting the record straight, Kwam 1 denied any form of rekindled relationship with Titi, stating unequivocally, “Titi Marshall is gone forever.” He added that while he remains responsible for the three children they had together, any suggestion of emotional or marital ties being restored with her is entirely false.

The singer also clarified the state of his current marriage, asserting that he is not separated from Emmanuella and that reports suggesting a crisis have been exaggerated. “I’m not estranged with Emmanuella. We don’t have any problems,” he said.

Kwam 1, however, acknowledged that like many relationships, theirs has had moments of friction — especially concerning Emmanuella’s activity on social media. “It’s a natural thing to say a woman is jealous,” he noted, pointing out that he had advised her to step away from the online space and focus more on her business. According to him, the tension may have stemmed from that disagreement, but it does not amount to a marital breakdown.

“She has every right to her own reaction,” he said, noting that Emmanuella is not just a wife, but also a mother to grown children — two currently in university and a third preparing to join. He emphasized that at this stage in life, priorities should shift toward stability and family rather than social media narratives.

Kwam 1 concluded by reaffirming his commitment to Emmanuella, stressing that he has no intention of taking another wife. “I don’t have any plans to take a new wife. Emmanuella is my only wife,” he declared.

Kwam 1 was previously married to Titi Marshall in 2018 before the union ended, paving the way for his marriage to Emmanuella in 2021. His public clarification puts to rest weeks of speculation and underscores the complexities that often surround celebrity relationships in the age of social media.
