Nigerian actress Laide Bakare has publicly refuted claims that a recent cryptic social media post was aimed at her colleague Biola Bayo, who recently announced her divorce. Bakare clarified that she was unaware of Bayo's personal news, attributing her lack of knowledge to being preoccupied with her daughter's graduation celebrations.

Earlier, Laide Bakare had shared a post stating, "All of us will eat breakfast. Asiko lo ma ya to. Good morning, people." This seemingly innocuous message was interpreted by some online users as a veiled reference to Biola Bayo's divorce.

However, Laide Bakare quickly moved to dispel these speculations. In a follow-up statement, she expressed her support for Biola Bayo, whom she affectionately referred to as "sister," and criticized those who were quick to assume malicious intent. "Let us all be guarded, please.

It’s still June 5th here in America—California, to be precise. I can never shade my own sister @biolabayo. My prayers are with you. I didn’t get any updates. I was busy with @simlineboss’ graduation. Trolls are evil,” Bakare wrote, emphasizing her good wishes for Bayo and condemning the spread of misinformation by online trolls.
