The 24th edition of the prestigious beauty and environmental advocacy pageant was organised by Queen Bae Studios in collaboration with Miss Earth Nigeria, under the leadership of National Director Ibinabo Fiberesima, a veteran actress and former beauty queen herself. The star-studded ceremony saw the presence of Nollywood personalities including Hilda Dokubo and Walter Anga, adding an extra layer of sparkle to the night.
“We are proud and delighted to announce that among a pool of beautiful and intelligent ladies, the immensely talented Miss Divine Ekemini Nelson, a native of Ikot-Mbong, Etinan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, emerged as Miss Earth Nigeria 2025,” said Fiberesima.
“Most crucially, Queen Divine Ekemini Nelson will have the privilege of representing Nigeria at the world pageant in the Philippines later this year.”
Nelson’s victory was celebrated as a blend of beauty, poise, and purpose, aligning with the Miss Earth pageant's core mission of promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living.
Joining her in the royal court are:
- Benita Chinelo Ifeanyichukwu – Miss Earth Air
- Chuzuruoke Sufficient Arua – Miss Earth Water
- Jolayemi Oladunni Dada – Miss Earth Fire
- Ngowari Treasure Tubonemi – Miss Earth Eco-Tourism
These runners-up will serve alongside Nelson in the pageant’s environmental advocacy projects in the months leading up to the international competition.
As preparations begin for the global Miss Earth event later this year in the Philippines, Queen Divine is expected to lead Nigeria’s charge not only with elegance but with a message focused on environmental responsibility, sustainability, and the power of youth-driven change.
Her win marks a significant step forward in the continued evolution of Nigeria’s beauty industry — where style now walks hand-in-hand with substance.
