Justin Bieber is marking a new chapter in both his personal and professional life with the release of his seventh studio album, Swag, a deeply personal project inspired by his recent journey into fatherhood. The album, which dropped just a few months after the birth of his son, Jack Blues, features Bieber alongside his wife Hailey and their newborn on the cover—a family portrait that sets the tone for the reflective and celebratory nature of the project.
Swag has made an immediate and powerful impact on the charts. This week, it dominated the Billboard Hot 100, with 16 tracks from the album landing on the chart. The album’s lead single, “Daisies,” debuted at No. 2, marking Bieber’s 27th career top 10 hit and placing him in a tie with Janet Jackson as the artist with the 10th-most top 10 hits in Billboard Hot 100 history.
The commercial success of Swag also saw Bieber break another major record. With his latest entries, he now holds the record for the most Hot 100 entries by a male singer, surpassing Chris Brown with a total of 121 songs charted.
In a historic feat, Bieber became the first artist ever to debut at No. 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously. Swag debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, while “Daisies” entered at No. 2 on the Hot 100, underscoring the strength of both his fanbase and streaming power.
Meanwhile, in another chart milestone, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” has officially become the first song in Billboard Hot 100 history to spend 100 weeks on the chart. The soulful hit, which previously peaked at No. 1, remains in the top 10, continuing its unprecedented longevity.
As Bieber transitions into this new era of family life and creative maturity, Swag represents more than just commercial success—it's a statement of evolution, both as an artist and as a father.
