Uyo to Host 2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the tournament is set to take place from July 11 to 13 at the renowned Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. FGDC Chief Executive Officer, Remi Olukoya, confirmed the dates while announcing a robust lineup of sponsors for this year’s event, including Pepsi, Suzuki by CFAO, RwandAir, and True Blue Energy.
Speaking to journalists, Olukoya highlighted the careful planning behind the choice of Uyo as the host city, describing it as an intentional decision to deliver a fresh and memorable experience for participants and guests alike.
“The 2025 International Pairs will be unlike any previous edition, with a unique blend of competitive golf and vibrant social activities,” he said.

Winners to Represent Nigeria at Sun City World Finals
Highlighting the global significance of the tournament, Olukoya revealed that the winners of the Nigeria National Finals will earn the right to represent the country at the World Finals. The international showdown is scheduled to be held at South Africa’s iconic Sun City Resort from October 6 to 10, 2025.
Sun City, known for its luxurious setting and adventure offerings, features world-class golf courses such as the legendary Gary Player Country Club and the family-friendly Lost City Golf Course.
