UK-based Nigerian pastor and founder of SPAC Nation, Tobi Adegboyega, has provided a candid update on his health journey following a battle with cancer.

Adegboyega, who previously disclosed his diagnosis, revealed in a new online video that he has successfully undergone surgery and is now preparing to begin chemotherapy, which marks the next phase of his treatment.

Speaking openly about his experience, the celebrity preacher emphasized the importance of confronting health challenges with courage rather than denial.

“This is proof of life. I’m alive and I’m recovering. I have gone through the surgery, and then there is the chemotherapy treatment afterwards,” Adegboyega said. “When you tell Nigerians this, they will say it’s not your portion in Jesus’ name, but it was my portion and I have faced it like a man should.”

He went on to thank members of the public and well-wishers who have supported him with prayers and messages of encouragement throughout his ordeal.

Adegboyega, known for his influence among young Nigerians in the UK and beyond, has in recent years been a prominent voice in religious and social conversations. His decision to speak openly about his health battle adds to growing calls for public figures to destigmatize serious illnesses and encourage early treatment.
