As the Big Brother Naija 10/10 season moves towards its grand finale, housemates got a refreshing reminder on the importance of personal hygiene, courtesy of Carex. The PZ Cussons personal care brand returned for the second time this season with its “War Against Germs” challenge—an engaging and educational brand task that fused entertainment with health awareness.

Opening the floor as the 28th and final brand task of the season, Carex showcased its range of hygiene products—bar soaps, hand wash, and antiseptic liquid—as the essential defense in the daily fight against germs both on the body and around the home. The session wasn’t only about brand display; it also provided useful education on product use, skin protection, and the prevention of common infections.

The activity-themed task brought excitement and creativity to the house as the remaining nine contestants were split into two competing teams: Team Lime Fresh and Team Original. The challenge was structured in four stages designed to test intellect, teamwork, and originality, with points awarded at each level and the highest-scoring team crowned overall winner.

The competition began with the Carex Puzzle Solving Challenge, where teams raced to assemble wooden cubes into the shape of a Carex antiseptic bottle. Team Original showcased sharper problem-solving skills, winning the first round and earning 20 points.

A lighter, more playful segment followed—a germ-themed shootout featuring housemates dressed as germs and others armed with toy guns representing Carex products. Although no points were attached, it delivered laughter and captured the spirit of Carex’s campaign against germs.

In the third round, the Rescue Mission Game, housemates used joystick-controlled machines to separate “infected” items from safe ones—simulating Carex’s germ-killing efficiency. The swiftest team to complete the task earned another 20 points.

The final and deciding stage demanded pure creativity. Each team prepared a lively presentation illustrating how Carex “kills one million germs in seconds.” With dramatic flair, the housemates acted out germ battles, staged parades, and explained the science and benefits behind Carex’s gentle yet effective products. Their engaging performances emphasized hygiene education in a fun, relatable way.

At the end of the evening, Team Original emerged as the overall winner of the last brand task of the season. Congratulations poured in for Isabella, Koyin, Kaybobo, Jason Jae, and Dede, whose teamwork, puzzle-solving brilliance, and spirited presentation earned them victory.

Carex’s “War Against Germs” challenge not only entertained but reinforced the importance of personal hygiene—proving once again that learning can be fun, even inside the BBNaija house.
