Speaking at the unveiling, Oye Hassan-Odukale, Chairman of Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to delivering vehicles that embody performance, reliability, and style while maintaining robust after-sales support. “We affirm our promise to deliver vehicles that Nigerians can trust, enjoy, and be proud to own,” he said. “As we unveil the T9 and JS8 Pro, I invite you to explore and experience their performance. These are truly remarkable additions to our growing family.”
According to Olumide Olaokun, Senior Brand Manager at Elizade JAC Autoland, the two models were designed with Nigerian families and road conditions in mind, combining rugged reliability with modern comfort. “When you choose the JAC T9 or JS8 Pro, you’re choosing durability, safety, and comfort that meet global standards,” he noted.
The JAC T9 Pickup, built on the company’s third-generation platform, showcases over 60 years of JAC’s chassis engineering expertise. It comes equipped with a turbocharged engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg. Safety features include six airbags, a high-strength cage body, and multi-layer anti-collision beams. Inside, drivers enjoy a luxurious 10.4-inch touchscreen display, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging — all designed to balance toughness with technology.
On the other hand, the JAC JS8 Pro caters to families and professionals seeking a blend of space and sophistication. The seven-seater SUV features a panoramic sunroof, dual 24.6-inch display screens, independent third-row air conditioning, and a spacious trunk that offers over 2,000 liters when seats are folded. With a fuel consumption rate of 7.9L per 100km, it delivers both power and efficiency. “With the JS8 Pro, you get large space, large power, and large happiness,” Olaokun enthused.
Demola Ade-Ojo, Managing Director/CEO of Elizade JAC Autoland, emphasized the company’s ongoing dedication to innovation, affordability, and customer satisfaction. He explained that the latest models align with global automotive trends, showcasing cutting-edge digital displays and advanced engine technologies tailored to modern driving needs. “Our goal is to keep Nigerians inspired with vehicles that combine technology, performance, and design at the right value,” he said.
Ade-Ojo also announced several customer-focused initiatives — including Auto Protect, an extended warranty program now covering five years or 150,000km, up from three years or 100,000km, as well as flexible payment plans developed in partnership with leading banks to make vehicle ownership more accessible.
Bruce Zhao, Sales Manager for West Africa at JAC International, praised the partnership, highlighting JAC Motors’ six-decade legacy of delivering quality and innovation worldwide. He described the Nigerian launch of the T9 and JS8 Pro as a major milestone that reinforces the company’s global commitment to excellence.
The launch drew an impressive lineup of guests, including government officials, captains of industry, corporate executives, car dealers, and brand ambassadors. A memorable highlight of the evening came when Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, founder of Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, was presented with a brand-new RF8 Hybrid Electric Vehicle in recognition of his visionary leadership and enduring contributions to the automotive industry.
With the unveiling of the JAC T9 Pickup and JS8 Pro SUV, Elizade JAC Autoland continues to strengthen its presence in Nigeria’s automotive landscape — offering vehicles built for rugged performance, modern technology, and family-friendly comfort, all while reaffirming its promise of trust, quality, and innovation.
