Speaking during an interview on Yanga FM Lagos, Zlatan disclosed that he is already in talks with the promoters who handled the viral Portable vs Speed Darlington boxing bout earlier this year, with hopes of staging a similar event in December.
“I want to organise a boxing match for Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck. They are both my friends,” Zlatan said. “I’m already talking to the organisers of the Speed Darlington vs Portable boxing match to make it happen this December.”
While the rapper admitted that the ongoing feud between the two hip-hop stars has generated social media buzz, he expressed concern about its negative impact on the music industry, urging both artistes to let go of animosity and focus on unity.
“They are my guys. I sincerely hope they resolve their issues. I don’t like that energy between them. In real life, I don’t like the beef at all,” Zlatan explained. “These are my friends, and I’m certain they will definitely reconcile and collaborate in the future.”
Zlatan noted that the proposed boxing match, though partly tongue-in-cheek, could serve as a lighthearted way for both rappers to clear the air and move past their differences.
The Zanku Records boss reiterated his optimism about a future collaboration between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, adding that friendly competition should never overshadow the creative spirit that drives Nigeria’s thriving hip-hop scene.
