According to Brian Etuk, NFC’s Director of Public Affairs, the participation of the Chinese filmmakers highlights a growing partnership between ZUFF and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Abuja. The collaboration aims to strengthen cinematic ties and promote storytelling that fosters human development.
“The two renowned Chinese filmmakers will be joining us at Zuma 2025, presenting their award-winning documentary film Rooting, followed by an engaging questions and answers session,” Etuk said. He invited the public to take part in the festival, describing it as a cinematic journey celebrating the power of storytelling and its global impact.
The five-day festival, to be held at Chida Hotel & Events Centre, promises to be a hub of creativity, innovation, and inspiration, featuring thought-provoking films, discussions, and cultural performances.
