Olisa Ezeasor, assistant coach of Anambra-based Nigeria National League side Solution FC, has sold a pair of boots gifted to him by Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Ezeasor put the boots up for sale at N1 million, barely two months after receiving them from Osimhen, who last wore the pair when he scored a hat-trick for Nigeria in the 2026 World Cup qualifying series against Benin Republic. The boots were purchased by football administrator Fola Olatunji-David for an undisclosed fee. Ezeasor explained that the sale was motivated by the need to fund his personal business.

“Officially putting this boot up for sale. Price: One million naira only. Size: 44/45. Money needed to support my personal business,” he posted on Saturday.

Following the sale, Ezeasor announced a N250,000 giveaway from the proceeds to benefit his online community. “Update: Boot sold. Purchased by Fola Olatunji-David. Price: undisclosed. In order to give back to my mutual community, who have been active under my posts since my small fame in this space, I’ll be doing a giveaway worth N250,000. N10,000 for 25 persons,” he wrote, outlining the rules for participation.

The boots had originally been gifted to Ezeasor in September after he praised Osimhen for his hat-trick that boosted Nigeria’s hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Solution FC suffered a 2-0 loss to 2025 President Federation Cup finalists Abakaliki FC on Saturday. Following the defeat, Ezeasor lamented what he described as partial officiating in the league.
