Known for blending Afrobeats, UK hip-hop, and melodic rap, Neo 21 describes his style as intentionally unconventional. He believes that challenging genre boundaries is necessary for artistic evolution, particularly within Afrofusion, where he feels many creatives have become overly cautious. With Teriqus, he set out to challenge that tendency by experimenting freely, allowing hip-hop cadences to merge with Afrobeats rhythms while preserving cultural authenticity.
