Davido emphasized that his creative partnerships are guided by natural chemistry rather than strategic arrangements.
“I just really make music. Whoever comes around, comes around, and we make music if we are chilling, if we are in the studio,” he explained. He further elaborated on the importance of organic collaborations, noting, “I love making music with people naturally. I do not like forcing things. I just did a collaboration with Bhaskar from India. I believe music is a universal language.”
The forthcoming project will mark the latest chapter in a partnership that began in 2019. Their first collaboration came with Davido’s hit single Blow My Mind, which featured Chris Brown. Later that year, Brown returned the favor by featuring Davido on Lower Body.
Since then, the duo has maintained a steady creative relationship, contributing to tracks such as Under the Influence in 2019—co-written by Brown, Davido, and Tiffany McKie, and produced by Nigerian producer KDDO—followed by Shopping Spree with Young Thug in 2020, Sensational in 2022, and Hmmm in 2024.
