The event, which formed part of Iconiq Fest at the Landmark Event Centre, was designed to be a high-energy night of live music and guest performances. However, the show was marred by logistical challenges that prevented some ticket holders from entering the venue.
In a statement addressing the incident, Bnxn said the organisers placed profit above fan safety — a decision he condemned and deeply regretted.
He said, “The show organizers prioritized profit over the safety of the fans and it should never have been so. I am so sorry to everyone who had valid entries and still couldn’t make it into the show.”
Bnxn further expressed that he would never intentionally put his fans in harm’s way or in a situation that disrespects their support.
He added, “I’d never want to put anyone that loves me or my music in that kind of reckless position and I sincerely apologize.”
The apology comes amid growing concern over crowd management and event safety standards in the entertainment industry, especially at high-profile shows with large audiences. Fans and industry stakeholders have called for stricter enforcement of safety protocols and better event planning to prevent similar incidents in the future.
