The recent reconciliation between actress Tonto Dikeh and her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, has continued to draw public reactions, with popular Nigerian on-air personality Do2dtun describing the development as deeply shocking and emotionally significant.
Reacting to the reconciliation nearly ten years after the couple’s divorce, Do2dtun praised Dikeh for taking what he described as a courageous and difficult step. The media personality shared his thoughts via a post on X, shortly after Churchill confirmed the reconciliation in an Instagram post on Sunday afternoon.
Expressing surprise at the turn of events, Do2dtun said forgiveness remains one of the hardest personal journeys anyone can undertake. He noted that Dikeh’s decision had earned his respect, describing it as a powerful display of strength and maturity.
“Tonto’s latest post about Churchill is the hardest thing to do. My respect for her just rose. Forgiveness is a hard road to ply. I hope we all get there. Ah! This one shock me,” he wrote.
Do2dtun’s reaction has drawn particular attention given his own ongoing personal struggles. The broadcaster is currently involved in a contentious divorce and custody battle with his estranged wife, during which he has repeatedly accused her and her family of denying him access to their children.
The reconciliation between Dikeh and Churchill has sparked widespread discussion online, with many observers highlighting it as a rare example of reconciliation and peaceful co-parenting in the public eye.
