Justin Bieber is set to make a highly anticipated return to the Grammy stage at the 2026 awards ceremony, the Recording Academy confirmed on Thursday. The performance will mark Bieber’s first public solo appearance since he canceled his 2022 concert tour, following a prolonged period away from the spotlight.

Bieber arrives at the Grammys with four nominations this year, including:

  • Album of the Year for SWAG
  • Best Pop Vocal Album for SWAG
  • Best R&B Performance for “Yukon”
  • Best Pop Solo Performance for “Daisies”

This will be his fourth Grammy performance, and his first since 2022, when he performed an acoustic rendition of “Peaches” on piano before being joined by Daniel Caesar and Giveon.

A Return After Years Away

In recent years, Bieber has largely remained out of the public eye. His absence followed the cancellation of his 2022 tour, a decision prompted by his battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that affects facial nerves and can cause partial paralysis. Since then, his only notable public singing appearance was a guest performance at SZA’s 2024 Toronto show, where he joined her to sing “Snooze.”

His upcoming Grammy performance comes as he prepares for a major return to live music with a headlining set at Coachella this April, suggesting the ceremony could serve as an early stage for his comeback.

Star-Studded Lineup for the 2026 Ceremony

Bieber will share the stage with a lineup of high-profile performers, including:

  • All Best New Artist nominees: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, and The Marías
  • Sabrina Carpenter, another Coachella headliner
  • Pharrell Williams, fashion designer and music icon
  • Clipse, the influential rap duo

The ceremony will take place on Feb. 1, hosted by Trevor Noah, and will feature performances that reflect both mainstream pop and emerging talent.

With Bieber’s return and the star-studded roster, the 2026 Grammys are shaping up to be one of the most eagerly watched broadcasts of the year.
