Kaduna State is set to host the Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW) CROC CITY 2026 from April 19 to 25, 2026, in collaboration with the Kaduna State Government. The week-long programme will highlight the pivotal role of public relations in addressing national challenges, under the theme “Nigeria’s Food Security: From Public Policy to Public Plates – The Imperatives of Public Relations.”

The event will bring together communication professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to examine how public relations can shape policy narratives, strengthen public trust, and manage crises—particularly in areas affecting national stability such as food security and agricultural sustainability.

Pre-Conference Webinar to Address Crisis Communication in Agriculture

Ahead of the main conference, NPRW CROC CITY 2026 will host its second pre-conference webinar on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM (WAT). The session is titled:

“Crisis Communication in Agricultural Value Chains: Managing Scarcity, Inflation, and Public Anxiety.”

The webinar aims to equip participants with practical strategies for managing public expectations during periods of scarcity and rising food prices. It will also explore effective communication tactics for mitigating panic and fostering stakeholder confidence across the agricultural value chain.
