Bournemouth secured a crucial 2–0 victory at Molineux Stadium, with Eli Junior Kroupi’s powerful first-half strike setting the tone for the Cherries’ first back-to-back Premier League wins since September.

Wolves, looking to bounce back after a heavy defeat at Manchester City last weekend, began strongly and appeared to take an early lead when Matheus Nunes nodded Rodrigo Gomes’ cross in off the post in the seventh minute. However, the goal was disallowed for offside, leaving the hosts frustrated.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 33rd minute. Kroupi fired a looping shot from inside the box past Wolves goalkeeper José Sá, registering his eighth league goal of the season and giving Bournemouth the advantage. The visitors almost doubled their lead before half-time, with Amine Adli and Alex Jiménez both denied by Sá, who kept Wolves in the match.

In the second half, Wolves intensified their search for an equaliser. Joao Gomes struck the post from a Hugo Bueno corner, and both Tolu Arokodare and Jørgen Strand Larsen came close to scoring. But Bournemouth’s defence held firm, and the Cherries sealed the victory deep into stoppage time when Alex Scott tapped in from Rayan’s low cross, marking manager Andoni Iraola’s 100th Premier League game in charge with a memorable win.

The result lifts Bournemouth to 12th place in the table, just five points shy of the top four, while Wolves remain rooted in the relegation zone, 17 points from safety with their goal difference continuing to cause concern.
