Founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), Pastor Jerry Eze, has announced a new empowerment initiative targeted at supporting young entrepreneurs across Nigeria.

The programme, unveiled through a video message, will see a total of $300,000 disbursed as grants to 100 beneficiaries operating within the agriculture, technology and manufacturing sectors. According to Pastor Eze, each selected participant will receive a minimum of $3,000 to either scale an existing business or kick-start a new venture.

He explained that the initiative would be managed by an independent organisation to guarantee transparency and fairness in both the selection of beneficiaries and the distribution of funds. This, he noted, is part of efforts to ensure credibility and measurable impact.

Describing the announcement as a preview of bigger plans ahead, Pastor Eze said the programme represents only the beginning of a broader vision for social and economic empowerment. He hinted that more initiatives would be rolled out in the future as part of the foundation’s long-term goals.

“This is an early insight into a larger plan,” he said, adding that the empowerment drive aligns with a holistic approach to uplifting individuals beyond spiritual growth.

He further emphasized that the Jerry Eze Foundation is committed to addressing the overall wellbeing of individuals, particularly young people, by encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

“The Jerry Eze Foundation caters for the total man. Keep watching this space as we bring you details of how this will happen,” he stated.

The initiative has been positioned as a blend of faith-driven leadership and practical economic support, with the aim of nurturing young innovators and stimulating growth in key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
