The trailer for the upcoming romantic drama “Love and New Notes” has been released, with actor and producer Timini Egbuson announcing the film’s nationwide cinema release on February 13.

In a post on Instagram, Egbuson teased the movie’s central theme of hidden truths in relationships, writing:
“Every house has its secrets…and love always finds a way out. Love & New Notes In cinemas nationwide February 13.”
He also confirmed his role as the presenter of the film, stating:
“Timini Egbuson @_timini presents love & new notes.”

Directed by Kayode Kasum, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Sophie Alakija, Odunlade Adekola, Eniola Badmus, and Kamo State. Set in 1984 Lagos, the story weaves romance, ambition, and family dynamics into a backdrop of national tension caused by a sudden government-mandated currency change.

The trailer hints at a blend of romance, drama, and suspense, with Egbuson playing Boma, a struggling young man trying to navigate love and life amid societal upheaval.

Produced by Muyi Banti, “Love and New Notes” marks another significant milestone in Egbuson’s career, following his previous production credit in the romantic drama “Reel Love.” The film is expected to draw audiences with its nostalgic setting and emotional storyline.
