A new academic milestone has been recorded in the family of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, as his son, Joaquin Wike, graduated with a Master of Science degree in Management and Technology Change from King’s College London.

Photos from the graduation ceremony, which took place in London, were shared on Thursday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, via his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Announcing the development, Olayinka noted that Joaquin successfully completed the postgraduate programme at the prestigious institution, marking a significant achievement in his academic journey.

The graduation ceremony attracted close family members and a number of notable political figures. Among those in attendance were the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa; PDP National Vice Chairman (South South), Chief Dan Orbih; and Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Also present were the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike; his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike; and other members of the family, including Jordan Wike and Jazmyne Wike, who joined in celebrating the occasion.

The latest achievement comes shortly after Joaquin’s brother, Jordan Wike, graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Queen Mary University of London, underscoring the family’s growing list of academic accomplishments.

The event was marked by a celebratory atmosphere, with attendees congratulating Joaquin on completing his studies at one of the United Kingdom’s leading universities.
