The musicians disclosed the incident on social media, revealing that the break-in resulted in the loss of important personal items and work materials, including laptops, a passport, and a hard drive containing unreleased music.
Khaid expressed frustration over the development in a post shared on Instagram, explaining that the stolen items included crucial travel documents and creative files related to his music career.
“Just fcking got robbed in Cali, my passport to travel, my laptop, my fcking harddrive. All my f*cking songs,” he wrote, lamenting the loss of the hard drive that reportedly contained several of his tracks.
Pheelz also reacted to the incident, describing the experience as one of the most shocking nights he had encountered. While recounting the ordeal, he expressed gratitude that they were unharmed.
“Craziest night last night. LA you do this one. Thank God for life,” he wrote.
The music producer further shared his surprise at how authorities responded after they attempted to report the incident.
“I thought it was going to be like the movies where you call the police and they pull up almost immediately. Omo we called o, they say make we fill form online,” he added.
The incident highlights ongoing concerns about vehicle break-ins in parts of Los Angeles, where thieves often target parked cars in search of electronics, luggage and other valuables. It remains unclear whether the stolen items have been recovered.
