Reacting to the recognition, Makun expressed gratitude and described the honour as a defining moment in his career.
“I am honoured, grateful and truly humbled to be celebrated as Silverbird Man of the Year as a trailblazer in comedy and the Nollywood industry,” he said in a statement.
