Veteran Nigerian musician Charly Boy has entered a new chapter in his family life, celebrating the arrival of his first great-grandchild.
The 75-year-old singer, born Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, shared his excitement on X, posting a photo of his grandson and his wife cradling the newborn. While he did not disclose the baby’s name or exact birth date, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the blessing.
“Behold, my grandson with my great-grandson. God never bless me reach?” he wrote, capturing the joy of the milestone.

Charly Boy first rose to prominence in the 1980s with his eccentric style and bold persona, earning the nickname ‘Area Fada’.
