“The knee is fine, much better. It’s going pretty well, although I know there’s been quite a bit of speculation about it and lies have been told. It’s the life of a high-level athlete; we’re used to people saying things not verified and without any foundations,” Mbappé said, addressing the rumors that had circulated in the media.
The 24-year-old had missed several key matches for Real Madrid due to the injury, raising concerns among fans and analysts about his readiness for both club and international duties. However, Mbappé reassured supporters that he has returned to full fitness.
“Yes, I’m 100% ready. I had the chance to find a good diagnosis in Paris, and together we were able to design a plan to return to the best level with Real Madrid and also for the World Cup,” he added.
Mbappé will feature for the French national team during this international window as he continues his preparations for the upcoming World Cup. He will also be back in contention for a pivotal Champions League quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich, where his fitness could prove decisive for Real Madrid’s ambitions in Europe.
