Nigerian gospel and juju musician Odunnayo Akintomide, popularly known by her stage name Odunnayo, has announced plans for a six-month musical tour across the United Kingdom, starting April 1, 2026.

The Ekiti State-born singer will lead her nine-member band on a series of performances targeting Nigerian diaspora audiences in major UK cities. The tour is scheduled to run until September 2, 2026, showcasing the rich sounds of Nigerian gospel and juju music beyond the country’s borders.

According to her band manager, Lawal Taiwo Tomiwa, the tour will feature live shows in halls and event centres, blending worship, cultural expression, and high-energy performances.

The tour will kick off with the Welcome Dance at Success Hall, Old Kent Road, London, followed by a Praise Night at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Fruitful Land Parish in Tilbury, Essex, on April 5, and another session at TNLCM Media Hall, Dagenham, Essex, on April 7. Odunnayo is also scheduled to perform alongside Ogunyinka Olalekan Olaitan at a juju music festival during the tour.

Promoted by Topnotch Global Venture International Limited, the tour will not only celebrate Nigerian culture but also serve as an opportunity for Odunnayo and her band to record and launch a new music video.

Born on December 23, 1981, Odunnayo began her musical journey in the church, trained as a lead vocalist, and over the years developed a distinctive blend of gospel and juju music. She officially launched her professional career in 2017 with the debut album Fill Me Oh Lord, and has since remained active in both live performances and recordings.

A graduate of Business Administration from Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene, she is currently pursuing a degree in Public Administration at the University of Lagos. Odunnayo is a member of the RCCG mass choir and affiliated with the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture.

Beyond performing, she is the convener of Atmosphere of Worship, a popular monthly and annual gospel event. She has shared the stage with notable gospel artistes, including Adeyinka Alaseyori, Bukola Bekes, Mercy Chinwo, and Chigozie Wisdom, further cementing her reputation in Nigeria’s vibrant gospel music scene.
