The controversy began after Sowore, in a viral video, assessed ongoing developments in Abia State, particularly in Aba. Speaking after a recent visit, the activist described the governor’s efforts as a “half-transformation,” arguing that progress in the commercial city was incomplete.
According to him, while some improvements were visible, other areas remained underdeveloped, stressing that he does not subscribe to what he termed partial transformation.
His remarks quickly drew reactions online, with Tunde Ednut taking to Instagram to question Sowore’s position. The influencer suggested that the activist often adopts a consistently critical stance, expressing frustration over what he implied was a pattern of dismissing achievements.
In his post, Ednut queried Sowore’s perspective, asking rhetorically who, in his view, has performed well in Nigeria, while hinting at perceived bias in the activist’s commentary.
The exchange adds to ongoing public debates around governance and development in Abia State, as differing opinions continue to trail the performance of the current administration.
