Police in Los Angeles have taken a 35-year-old woman into custody after she reportedly fired multiple shots into the home of superstar singer Rihanna on Sunday.

Authorities said the suspect used an AR-15-style assault rifle and fired at the mansion from a white Tesla across the street. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 1:15 pm local time (2000 GMT) in the Beverly Hills area.

An audio recording obtained by KABC-TV captured a dispatcher telling responding officers: “Shooting just occurred. Ten gunshots fired from the vehicle.”

No injuries were reported in the incident, and media images showed holes in the front gate of the property. It was not immediately clear if Rihanna, who shares the home with rapper A$AP Rocky and their three children, was present at the time.

The suspect was arrested after fleeing the scene and is being held on $10 million bail (€8.81 million). She faces charges of attempted murder.

Police are investigating the motive behind the shooting and whether the suspect had any connection to Rihanna.
