Nollywood actor Jide Kene Achufusi has tied the knot with his partner, Ifeoma, in a private white wedding ceremony held in Milan, Italy, in a celebration attended by close family members and friends.
The elegant ceremony, which took place on Sunday, has since gained public attention after clips and photos from the event surfaced online on Monday, offering glimpses into the couple’s intimate nuptials.
Achufusi, widely recognised for his standout roles in films such as “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free” and “Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards,” appeared in a classic white tailcoat paired with a black trouser and bow tie ensemble, reflecting a refined and traditional wedding aesthetic.
His bride, Ifeoma, complemented the occasion in a richly detailed white lace gown adorned with intricate beadwork and a flowing veil, embodying a traditional bridal elegance that drew admiration from fans and well-wishers online.
The actor had hinted at the development only days earlier when he announced his engagement, teasing fans with the phrase that his “wedding bells are ringing,” a comment that now aligns with the quiet but glamorous celebration that followed.
Achufusi, who has steadily built a reputation as one of Nollywood’s most promising talents, is also a recipient of industry recognition, including the Trailblazer award at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), which marked a significant milestone in his acting career.
The wedding adds a personal highlight to his journey, as fans continue to celebrate both his professional achievements and the new chapter in his private life.
