TCE 2026 in Ibadan Equips Christian Entrepreneurs on Kingdom Influence in the Marketplace

The Ibadan Business School hosted a vibrant gathering on April 11, 2026, as more than 200 participants converged for The Christian Entrepreneur (TCE) 2026: Creatives’ Edition, a summit dedicated to empowering faith-driven entrepreneurs to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.

Organized by the Kemi Irinoye Foundation, the event centered on the theme “The Role of Kingdom Influence in the Marketplace,” drawing together business leaders, creatives, and emerging entrepreneurs for a day marked by teaching, reflection, and practical engagement. The summit aimed to bridge the gap between faith and enterprise, encouraging participants to integrate spiritual values into their professional pursuits.

Throughout the program, convener Kemi Irinoye facilitated key sessions that underscored the need for intentionality in business practice. She emphasized that Christian entrepreneurs must not only pursue success but also ensure their work reflects integrity, excellence, and a sense of divine purpose. Her message repeatedly pointed attendees toward building ventures that serve as instruments of positive influence within their industries.

Adding to the depth of the conversations, TitOluwa Olumideko—an evangelist, preacher, and teacher—spoke passionately on identity and purpose in the marketplace. He reminded participants that faith is not meant to be compartmentalized but should actively shape how they engage in business, creativity, and leadership. His session encouraged attendees to embrace their role as “light” in professional spaces, reflecting values that inspire transformation.

Media entrepreneur, author, and speaker Damilare Oluwasegun also contributed practical insights, focusing on the power of media and storytelling in shaping modern businesses. He highlighted visibility, authenticity, and strategic communication as essential tools for building sustainable and influential brands in a digital-driven economy.

The summit featured interactive discussions, networking sessions, and collaborative engagements that explored themes of leadership, creativity, faith, and long-term business sustainability. Participants described the experience as both spiritually uplifting and professionally enriching, noting the balance between practical business wisdom and faith-based encouragement.

According to the organizers, TCE 2026 was designed with a clear mission: to equip Christian entrepreneurs with the tools, mindset, and spiritual grounding required to excel in their respective industries while maintaining strong ethical standards.

The event concluded with a renewed call for boldness and purposeful action, anchored in the biblical exhortation from Matthew 5:16, urging believers to let their light shine through their works. As the summit wrapped up, attendees were encouraged to return to their various fields with renewed conviction to embody kingdom values in their entrepreneurial journeys.

With its growing influence, The Christian Entrepreneur platform continues to establish itself as a significant space for nurturing purpose-driven entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
