The 41-year-old took to Instagram to clarify that photos suggesting she had recently welcomed a baby were entirely generated by artificial intelligence and had no basis in reality.
Lauren, who shares two daughters — Jasmine, 10, and Tiana, 8 — with Johnson, said she found the rumours both surprising and amusing, noting that the fabricated posts even escalated to claims of twins.
“I thought we’d all enjoy a good Sunday laugh. Apparently I had a new baby in Miami!. Make that TWO! I had TWO BABIES!!,” she wrote, dismissing the speculation with humour.
She stressed that the circulating images were “fake news,” making it clear that no such event had taken place and urging followers not to believe manipulated content.
The incident adds to a growing number of celebrity-related misinformation cases fuelled by AI-generated images, which continue to blur the line between real-life updates and digital fabrications across social media platforms.
