Popular gospel singer Moses Bliss has recounted a deeply emotional experience involving a serious health scare faced by his wife, Marie Bliss, shortly after she gave birth, describing it as a moment of fear, uncertainty, and what he believes was divine intervention.

The testimony, delivered during his ministration at the Mountain Experience programme in Abuja, has since gained widespread attention online, sparking conversations among fans and followers who described the account as a powerful expression of faith and gratitude.

According to the gospel artist, the incident occurred while the couple were in the United Kingdom, shortly after the birth of their first child in 2024. He explained that what began as an unexpected illness quickly escalated into a critical condition that left his wife in severe pain and struggling to breathe.

Bliss narrated that the symptoms emerged suddenly in the Midlands area of London, prompting an urgent hospital visit. Despite undergoing several medical tests, doctors were reportedly unable to immediately determine the cause of her condition, leaving the situation unresolved and emotionally distressing for the family.

”Me and my wife were in the UK, and all of a sudden we don’t know when the devil came. My wife became ill with one side of her body paining her, the back is also paining her, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well. It became serious that we had to take her to the hospital. And doctors said they don’t know the cause."

He further shared that the uncertainty of his wife’s condition coincided with his professional commitments, forcing him to travel to Nigeria for a scheduled programme while she remained under medical care in the UK. The separation, he said, added to the emotional weight of the moment as he grappled with fear and helplessness.

“They were doing all sorts of tests and they did not know what was going on and I started crying. I had to quickly rush down to Nigeria for a program. On the flight back to London, the spirit of God told me what are you waiting for? Are you not going to put an end to this nonsense, to this Harassment. Who are you waiting for?

In his account, Bliss described the experience as a turning point of intense prayer and spiritual reflection. He recounted moments of deep distress, followed by what he interpreted as divine prompting to take spiritual authority over the situation through prayer.

Upon returning to London, he said he prayed with his wife and encouraged her with words of faith. In what he described as a sudden turnaround, he later received a call informing him that she had been discharged from the hospital.

“So when I got to the hospital I started praying with my wife, and pumping the words of God into her heart. While on my way home, she called me that she had been discharged,” he said.

Bliss attributed the recovery to divine intervention, framing the ordeal as a test of faith that ultimately strengthened their spiritual conviction and dependence on God’s healing power.

The story has continued to circulate widely across social media platforms, with many admirers expressing relief and gratitude over the reported recovery, while also celebrating the couple’s openness in sharing a personal and vulnerable moment from their early family life.
