Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo has emotionally reflected on the loss of her close friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola, five months after her passing.

In a heartfelt Instagram tribute shared on Wednesday, Biola expressed the deep pain and emptiness she has continued to experience since Allwell’s death, admitting that it still feels unreal that her friend is gone.

Referring to the late actress by her affectionate nickname, “Eniobanke,” Biola described the past few months as emotionally draining and revealed that she has been relying heavily on her faith and the strength of the Holy Spirit to cope with the loss.

According to her, although she once appeared strong while Allwell was alive, she has now realized how much spiritual strength she truly needs to navigate life without her friend.

“It’s been 5 months without you. It’s so hard to believe you’re truly gone. I miss you, I miss you! I miss you sis,” she wrote.

The actress opened up about the emotional void left behind, saying her heart remains broken and the absence of her late friend is still deeply felt.

Biola fondly remembered the moments they shared together, including their conversations, laughter, prayers, hugs, and jokes, noting that no one made her laugh the way Allwell did.

“My heart is still broken, the vacuum is still unfilled,” she stated.

She added that despite the pain and uncertainties life has brought since the tragedy, she continues to hold on to God’s faithfulness and love.

The grieving actress also said the memories she shared with Allwell are now among her most treasured possessions, promising to hold onto them forever.

“I miss your smile. I miss your jokes… nobody made me laugh the way you did. I miss our gists. I miss your hugs. I miss our prayers,” Biola wrote.

In an emotional conclusion to the tribute, she acknowledged that life has not been easy without her friend but expressed confidence that God would continue to strengthen and sustain her.

She also sent a touching message through Allwell to her late parents.

“Continue to rest well and say hello to my mom and dad, please tell them I miss them both.”
