Saudi budget airline flyadeal has unveiled an expanded Summer 2026 schedule that will see the carrier launch flights to Italy and the Czech Republic for the first time, while also restoring services to several popular seasonal destinations across Europe and the Middle East.

As part of the expansion, the airline will introduce new routes to Milan and Prague, marking a significant step in its growing European network strategy.

The carrier also confirmed the return of seasonal flights to Trabzon in northeastern Turkey, Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El Sheikh — the only non-European destination included in the summer programme.

According to the airline, the seasonal operations will run between July and September 2026, covering 12 routes across five destinations from four major Saudi cities — Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Qassim.

The 12-week programme is expected to feature nearly 900 scheduled flights before concluding on September 26, 2026.

Speaking on the development, Lloyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer of flyadeal, said the airline designed the programme to give travellers broader leisure options during the peak holiday season.

“With summer fast-approaching, we’re delighted to give our customers a truly exceptional choice of destinations for the upcoming season,” Misquitta said.

“The summer programme has been in the planning stages for some time with the focus on offering customers options to relax, explore and enjoy a flavour of Europe’s most popular and authentic cultural-centric cities,” he added.

Misquitta further noted that the return of routes to Egypt, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina reflects strong customer demand and the airline’s focus on seasonal leisure travel.

“We’re excited to bring back some of our favourite summer destinations in Egypt, Turkey and Bosnia & Herzegovina that reflects flyadeal’s commitment to meet demand of our loyal customer base,” he stated.

“Whether planning a short or long break with friends and families especially during the school holidays, this summer promises plenty of variety.”

The airline said all summer routes will be operated using its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft configured entirely in Economy Class with 186 seats.

The expansion comes as regional carriers across the Middle East continue to ramp up seasonal European connectivity amid growing outbound leisure travel demand from Gulf countries.

Industry analysts say low-cost carriers such as flyadeal are increasingly targeting high-demand tourism routes as competition intensifies in the regional aviation market.
