Paris Saint-Germain’s impressive showing in a thrilling 5-4 victory over Bayern Munich has been rewarded with the strongest representation in UEFA’s latest Champions League Team of the Week, announced on Thursday after the conclusion of the semi-final first legs.

UEFA confirmed a selection heavily influenced by this week’s dramatic fixtures, which also saw Arsenal hold Atlético Madrid to a 1-1 draw in Spain. The list includes four PSG players, alongside representatives from Bayern Munich and Arsenal, as well as Atlético Madrid.

The French champions’ attacking and midfield influence was particularly recognised, with Vitinha, João Neves, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembélé all included after their key roles in the chaotic nine-goal encounter in Paris.

Arsenal’s defensive resilience earned them two spots, with goalkeeper David Raya and centre-back Gabriel selected following their disciplined display in Madrid against Atlético. Bayern Munich also contributed two players, with Dayot Upamecano and Michael Olise recognised for their performances despite narrowly losing in France.

Atlético Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann was named after scoring in their draw with Arsenal, while Marc Pubill also made the selection following a solid showing at the back.

UEFA’s official selection reflected the intensity and attacking quality of both semi-final first legs, which produced goals, momentum swings, and late drama across both ties.
