Jonathan Condemns Attack On Health Workers In Kano

The President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has strongly condemned the killings of some health workers in Kano by some persons believed to be terrorists.
Jonathan said that the killing of the 19 health workers, who were doing their best to kick polio out of Nigeria, was uncalled for.
He, however, assured the international organisations and Nigerians of the federal government’s commitment in fighting the menace of maternal and child mortality in all parts of Nigeria.
He said that the culprits of the attack and other terrorists would be apprehended and made to face the wrath of the law.
He therefore directed security personnels to ensure the safety of health workers in all high-risk zones in the country.
He then prayed for the repose of the souls of the victims of the attack.
