The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammed Saad Abubakar III appears to be optimistic that amnesty for the Boko Haram members is possible despite the recent rejection to the move by the federal government.
The sultan who led a delegation of members of the 2012 Hajj Commission to the presidential villa was evasive when state house correspondents wanted to get him to react to the amnesty for Boko Haram which he advocated.
But after much pressure he gave a one line response to the fact that “all things are possible”
