The much talked about fully mobile hybrid Account that offers MTN Nigeria’s 58 million subscribers a fusion of financial Services and telecoms incentives was officially unveiled in Asaba, Onitsa, Owerri, Enugu, Abakaliki and Makurd with the service of Abelinis Limited as the regional activation agency.
Information has it that it is a Mobile - Bank Account on the go on your device with hybrid combination of two different services and platforms.
Diamond Y’ello Account is open to all. And, it is targeted at the Youth and Mass Market segments of the MTN subscriber base where they can open with little amount and enjoy a full bank account with interest payment on account balances.
The Diamond Y'ello Account (DYA) will enable account holders to make payments to various merchants for utilities consumed and services rendered such as utility bills, cable TV bills, school fees, donations, insurance and ticketing.
“There are also generous loyalty offers for customers to enjoy as they meet various milestones with the easy access to open and operate a bank account through the subscribers mobile phone and through our network of agents offering deposits and withdrawals services’ said Ifeanyichukwu Udom, Regional Sales Manager (South-East).
