    Go Gaming With Cartoon Network

...One App, Multiple Games – Goodbye Boredom, Hello Fun and Games Boys and Girls
Cartoon Network, one of DStv’s leading kid-focused channels, will be introducing multiple digital offerings this month, promising to have kids excited and fully engaged.  Boys and girls should brace themselves for the ultimate gaming experience.  This month is going to be “goodbye boredom” and “hello fun and games” as the channel launches the long-anticipated app CN Anything, along with many iconic games to be enjoyed by anyone and everyone.
As the 31st edition of the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off in Gabon on Saturday, January 14th with 16 teams bidding to be the kings of their continent, you too can play your way to a win as Toon Cup returns on 14 January with a first-time ever localised version of their ultimate soccer game. Before starting a match or tournament, you must pick your country (try one of the new 20 African countries), assemble your team (from key Cartoon Network characters, including new characters such as Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls and Ice Bear from We Bare Bears), and start playing matches! Where can you play this game and how much will it cost to play?  Online of course and for free!  So if your team hasn’t been selected this year for the Africa Cup of Nations, click here to play and make your country win!
For all the action, green, alien fans, boy do we have a treat for you!  Following the successful global re-launch of the beloved franchise Ben 10, Cartoon Network is introducing Ben 10: Up to Speed.  The game follows Ben Tennyson as he goes on the best summer vacation ever with his Grandpa Max and Cousin Gwen.  He discovers an alien artifact called the Omnitrix that allows him to transform into powerful alien heroes.  Playing as Ben and his various alien alter egos, gamers will save the world by stopping evildoers, from giant robots to menacing magic users.**Download gameplay video here**

“At Turner, we understand that our audience is now predominantly online. This is an amazing opportunity for us to engage and interact with our viewers, when they are not watching Cartoon Network on-screen. It goes without saying that it is important for us to invest in this space, so Cartoon Network will have a strong digital focus in 2017,” says Pierre Branco, Vice President, Southern Europe and Africa for Turner International.
