    Coca-Cola Introduces New Additions To The 5 Alive Family In Nigeria

    As part of its efforts to serve the market with better proposition and to satisfy consumers especially in Nigeria, Coca-cola has launched three new 5Alive variants.
    The new addition to the 5Alive juice family include the35cl 5Alive Apple, 35cl 5Alive Tropical fruit and the 85cl 5Alive Pulpy Orange, bringing the number to 10 variants now available in the market.
    Speaking to the media during the unveiling of the variants in Lagos yesterday, Senior Brand Manager, Stills and Flavours, Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Sam Alugo, said the variants were specially made in Nigeria to give its consumers sensorial experience.

    He explained that the 5Alive variants comprises unique line of fruit juice, nectar and drink blends, adding that the brand’s unique selling proposition lies in the refreshing taste the product, 5Alive provides.
    Corroborating, Marketing Manager, Stills and Flavours, Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Gbolahan Sanni, said the need to keep satisfying its consumers and to serve the market with the right proposition drove the introduction of the new 5Alive variants.
    “Coca cola is all about innovation, if you look at the brand Coca-Cola, it started from an idea conceived by an individual who sat down in the lab and created the product that we all drink today. Essentially, that spirit of the founder has continued in the company as we have continued to innovate, think of new ways to satisfy our consumers because the consumer is king. We go out to do consumer research, find out what the consumer wants and come back to serve the market with the correct proposition,” he said.
    “Essentially, what we are doing is turning a new chapter in the page of the 5Alive brand and we are launching three new variants even though they are already in the market”, he said.

    Explaining further, Gbolahan said, “The variants we are launching are in different sizes, the new variants come with in plastic bottles ranging from 35cl. The 35cl Apple and Tropical fruit goes for a N130.00 while the 85cl 5Alive Pulpy Orange goes for N300.00, the 85cl now comes in a bigger bottle in 85cl for the whole family to share.”

    Gbolahan thereafter urged Nigerians to read the labels of products before consumption, adding that consumers should not be worried about sugar as Coca-Cola has produced products with less sugar content.
    “We have also have options for people who are worried about sugar as there is coke zero and we have products that have less sugar content and so consumers can make a choice on which of our products they will like to drink. I urge the public to read the labels of products and know what you are consuming into your body before you drink it, beyond that, in the future, Nigerians can look forward to seeing more from the brand 5Alive”, he said.
