Nestle Posts N71b Revenue

Food and beverage company Nestle Nigeria Plc, on Tuesday posted a revenue of N71.0 billion for the first quarter of this year, representing a growth of 5.2 per cent over the previous year.
Its gross profit for the period stood at N31.5 billion, compared to N25.8 billion during the previous year.

Nestle’s net profit for the quarter under review stood at N12.8 billion, compared to N8.6 billion during same period of the previous year.

Announcing the company’s finnacial result for the quarter at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at MUSON Centre, Lagos, its Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Mauricio Alarcon, said: “We are pleased with the sustained growth of our company, the loyalty or our consumers and the discipline and dedication if our people to provide tastier and healthier food and beverages.”
