    COVID-19: 43 New Cases Reported

    Nigeria has continued to see decline in the number of new COVID-19 cases, as the country on Friday reported no death linked to coronavirus and 43 people were confirmed positive for the virus.

    According to Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), the cases were found in 5 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

    The breakdown of the infections as follows Lagos-32, Rivers-7, FCT-2, Akwa Ibom-1 and Kaduna-1.

    Today's report includes 0 cases reported from Plateau, Nasarawa, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, and Sokoto States NCDC noted.

    Meanwhile, 3 COVID-19 patients who have recovered from the disease have been discharged from isolation centres across the country.

    The health agency via its official Twitter handle said that, till date, a total of 165,944 cases have been confirmed, 156,462 cases have been discharged and 2,067 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
